Myofascial Release (MFR)

Aids in removing fascial or connective tissue strain from various systems in the body.  MFR is three planar, considering the three dimensional view of the body. It is an indirect approach meaning the restrictions in the body are valued and used as a guide to consider what may be primary.

Neural Tissue Tension Technique

This technique is used to reduce scar tissue inside and outside of the central and peripheral nerves, therefore improving nerve function and reducing acute and chronic pain.

Cranial Therapy

Cranial treatment includes the techniques described above which were specifically designed for the cranium including  myofascial release, strain counterstrain, advanced strain counterstrain, neural tissue tension, and muscle energy techniques.  These techniques are essential for healing from concussions, whiplash, headaches, and any other spinal trauma, understanding that the central nervous system, including the brain and spinal cord are a contiguous system.  Therefore, clients who present with low back pain most likely will have cranial work in their treatment plan.

Muscle Energy Technique/Mobility Templates

This is used to realign biomechanics and increase the vertical dimension in the articular spaces throughout the spine/peripheral joints and soft joints in the body as well.

Strain Counterstrain

This technique is used to reduce muscle spasm of voluntary muscle tissue.

Sole Supports Custom Orthotics

How the foot hits the ground is essential to the dynamic flow throughout the systems in our body.  This orthotic is created from a mold of your feet which will fabricate constant contact with the soles of your feet.  This contact will provide full support to your arch, giving you the unique corrected posture you need.

Visceral Manipulation/Mobilization

Removing strain patterns that are held in visceral and surrounding tissue allows the body to attain deeper and more lasting changes, as well as changes in physiological function of the organs.  This may allow the respiratory system to flow/breathe with more symmetry or the gastrointestinal system to eliminate with greater ease.

Advanced Strain Counterstrain

This is strain counterstrain for autonomically innervated muscular tissue, including arteries, veins, organs, lymph, and discs.
